Digital Picture Frames a Tool For Effective Demonstrations by U4D
I am a visiting teacher of Floral Art. In the old days I used to carry around huge posters for using to demonstrate the day’s lessons. It was not only cumbersome to carry around, but was prone to becoming scruffy, often taking up valuable time and patience to re-sketch these on new cards. The angles had to be just right. Colour matching was also an essential component. There is so much that has to be explained to get the correct balance in shape, size and colour. Matching of floral material and foliage, background colour, the lessons were limitless.
I tried every manner of electronic demonstration but those were too complicated in setting up and handling that ate into the time allowed for each lesson. My search for the perfect tool ended when I walked past a shop window where a digital picture frame was doing a great job of displaying an entire portfolio of the company’s products and what uses those could be put to in making life easier for the busy career person.
This was exactly what I wanted in a device. Seeing it was the device I have been looking for, my next action was setting out to look for one. The best place to do this I thought was the internet. It was not an easy task. There were a vast assortment of digital picture frames but they all did not seem right for me. I looked for the one that was used in that shop window and decided to go take a closer look.
I found that this digital picture frame was equipped with a whole range of facilities that was useful for my needs. It was cordless… that is because it was a rechargeable item which could be placed anywhere, especially useful when there was no power socket nearby. Ah! That suited me fine and was just what I wanted. It could also be used plugged into to the mains power as well. Best of all I could load up all the lessons as well as the demonstration videos. I no longer needed to write up articles and make illustrations. The memory capacity that this model had was immense and thousands of pictures, illustrations and word documents could be stored and replayed over and over again.
By changing over to using the digital picture frame for my work I found that I could even save time. The saving in time allowed me to concentrate on developing new lessons. I cannot thank the innovator of this device enough for the convenience it afforded.
